Securities Daily's October 2025 account identifies Tianyi 2.0 entering the Foton Cummins engine factory from September. Later on-site reporting in STAR Market Daily locates the factory in Beijing's Changping District and describes continued testing in August 2026.

The wheeled robot transfers parts containers between a trolley and storage racks. The later report says a six-container sequence took under four minutes, while explaining that distorted racks and trolley obstacles required practical engineering changes. It also says the robots had not yet entered formal production staffing. This remains a pilot.

The case is useful because it exposes integration work hidden by a short demonstration: clearances, rack deformation and recovery actions matter. The reported sequence time is not an audited average production cycle. Tianyi 2.0 is kept separate from the bipedal TienKung 2.0 at the same facility; performance figures are not transferred between them. Beijing is marked approximately, without inventing a workcell coordinate.
