Walker S Lite enters quality-inspection training in Qingdao
FAW-Volkswagen opened its Qingdao demonstration factory to UBTECH for an automotive quality-inspection pilot, but site-level accuracy data remains absent.

UBTECH identifies Walker S Lite as the model introduced at FAW-Volkswagen's National Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory in Qingdao for quality inspection work. The case followed a July 2024 agreement to develop flexible production lines and test humanoid tasks at the facility.
The original agreement described possible bolt tightening, component assembly and parts handling. UBTECH's current application case specifically supports quality inspection by Walker S Lite; it does not establish that every task in the earlier agreement was deployed.
UBTECH gives a greater-than-99% visual-inspection claim for the Walker S series in general, but does not attribute a measured result to this Qingdao site. The map therefore records a pilot without importing the portfolio-level accuracy claim.
